Easily install the gate in doorways or hallways with the no-drill pressure mount system, which comes with adhesive wall cups to prevent damage to your walls. If you prefer to use the gate at the top or bottom of stairs, simply follow the instructions for hardware installation (hardware included). Tools needed for hardware installation (not included) include a drill, Phillips-head screwdriver, pencil, and measuring tape. Please note that the gate may appear bent initially, but this is not a defect and will be corrected once installed properly.

The Summer Multi-Use Decorative Safety Dog and Baby Gate is 36" tall (including arch) and fits openings from 28.5 to 48 inches. The gate features a 19" wide door that can swing both ways, and stays open when engaged at a greater than 90-degree angle. When the door is opened less than 90 degrees, it will automatically close. A stopper is included to prevent the door from swinging over stairs when installed at the top.

The gate securely locks to keep babies, toddlers, and pets safely contained with closely spaced bars that prevent them from squeezing through. Adults can easily open the door with one hand by engaging the latch and pulling up. Please be aware that this gate will not fit openings of 32-32.5", 36-36.5", 40-40.5", and 44-44.5". It has been third-party safety tested and approved for your peace of mind.
